Kari Bottoms

Hi! I am Pastor Patrick's wife, and mom to our amazing 5 kiddos.  I grew up as an only child in Houston, TX.   I was saved at an early age and have had a love and passion for the bible and Jesus for as far back as I can remember.   After graduating high school I started volunteering in our youth ministry, and attended Houston Baptist University where I majored in Biblical Studies and in Psychology. It was in simply following after God and his plan for my life that I ended up crossing paths with Patrick.  I am so grateful God brought us together to serve Him and share this life together!

I love the local church, and believe that it is the beautiful tool God has designed to not only equip and encourage saints, but to be a light in this dark world.   I am definitely a people person, and love to be involved in the life of the church and to use the gifts the Lord has given, and to help others discover their gifts.  In some of our past churches I have been involved in children and youth ministry, music ministry, and in helping lead opportunities for the women in the church.  I also have a heart and passion for hurting families, and kids in foster care.  God has given me a vision for a ministry called Restoring Hope, which at the core of it is sharing the hope found in Christ to those that truly need it.  I believe the church can be an amazing place of support and restoration as people hear the message of Christ and see us simply being the church.
